• Treat others with respect; follow the Golden Rule • Be understanding of differences • Use good manners, don’t use bad language • Don’t threaten, hit or hurt anyone • Be considerate of the feelings of others • Deal peacefully with anger, insults and disagreements
Everyone has worth as a human being and deserves our respect. You don’t have to like everyone, and you don’t have to agree with their opinions or behavior, but you should still give respect freely, regardless of the respect that you receive.
Our DVA Eagles understand that character is important and we work hard on developing strong, healthy character traits. For the month of September, we emphasized being trustworthy.
Trustworthiness: Be honest. Don’t deceive, cheat, or steal. Have integrity. Do what you say you’ll do. Keep your promises. Be loyal. Stand by your values.
During our October PTL, we were proud to honor several outstanding students with the Trustworthy award.

DVA Eagles, We are so excited about the 22-23 school year! We can hardly wait to see our Eagles again.
As a school, we are continually updating to make things better for our Eagles. One piece of feedback that we have received from parents is regarding the quality of school lunches.
This year, our Eagles will have the opportunity to be served freshly prepared food from a local vendor. We will also add the choice of a sandwich with a side. Milk will be available at no additional charge.
We have partnered with Hotlunch.com to facilitate online lunch ordering. Lunches will be pre- ordered and prepaid ahead of time by parents/guardians.
DVA now offers options: Pre-Ordered/Pre-Paid Hot Lunch, Pre-Ordered/Pre-Paid Cold Lunch. Additionally, our Eagles are always welcome to bring Home Lunch. The cost of lunch will be determined through your submitted lunch eligibility form.
