How can I demonstrate citizenship?

• Do your share to make your home, school, and community better.
• Cooperate.
• Stay informed. Vote.
• Be a good neighbor.
• Make choices that protect the safety and rights of others.
• Protect the environment.

Remember, our character ALWAYS COUNTS!

Our 4th-grade Eagles recently had a wonderful afternoon exploring the Colorado River Historic State Park. During the visit, the students learned about the river’s significance to our agricultural community and the U.S. Army. They were taught about the design and construction of dams and even got to experience sending Morse code! It was a fantastic opportunity for our eagles to learn about Yuma’s rich history.

Congratulations to our Eagles who earned the Character Award for Fairness during the month of February.
These students were honored at our March 5 PTL meeting.
