Serving as your Principal inspires absolute joy in my heart! It is with mixed emotion that I share news of my retirement, effective June 2024. This chapter is coming to a close as I open a new chapter of enjoying grandchildren, assisting with my aging parents, and traveling.
I began teaching in 1980 and have met so many wonderful people in my educational journey. Serving as an educator is such a rewarding experience. I am truly blessed to have been trusted with the privilege of serving students, families and staff over the years.
When I joined the DVA team in 2009, I never dreamed of all the adventures we would embark on together. Opportunities for learning and growing abound each day. Hand in hand with my soaring Eagles, we create a “Caring Community Where Students Excel.”
Thank you for 15 amazing years at DVA. I am, and will always be, grateful to be a DVA Eagle.
