September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month. Here in Yuma, we are keenly aware of how childhood cancer affects our community. Our DVA Eagles want to demonstrate our support for a cure and for those who have battled, or are currently battling, childhood cancer.
On Friday, September 24, we encourage our Eagles to “Go Gold” by wearing gold with free jeans.
Our Eagles were challenged to join our community on Tuesday, September 28, in “Pajama Day” to raise awareness of childhood cancer. We have accepted the challenge and have extended the challenge to DVMS, our central office team, and our parents/guardians.
At DVA, our character always counts!
