Our Eagles are so proud to represent DVA, and Yuma, as a 2021 National Blue Ribbon School! How did we receive this honor?
DVA was nominated for the award by the Arizona Department of Education, based on a minimum of three years of data on the state achievement assessments. After nomination as an “Exemplary Highly Performing School”, there was a rigorous process of submitting data, evidence, and descriptive essays showcasing what makes DVA so special. In the end, DVA was one of 5 Arizona schools, and the only Arizona charter school, to be named a 2021 National Blue Ribbon School. Congratulations to ALL of our DVA Eagle family!
